We’ve been coming back to Park Foot for many years, and for good reason. Set right on the banks of Ullswater in the heart of the stunning Lake District, it’s the perfect location for both relaxation and adventure. There’s so much to see and do in the surrounding area that every visit feels special. Our favourite pitches are Sandal 128 and Striding Edge 11.

Apple Blossom

Goole, NR York

We’ve been visiting Apple Blossom for years, and it truly feels like a home from home. The spacious pitches make camping comfortable, the facilities are spotless, and the overall vibe is laid‑back and welcoming. Dean and Lisa, the owners, are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. With a friendly on‑site pub, visiting food vans, and a chill, family‑friendly atmosphere, it’s a place we never tire of returning to.

Stonethwaite captures everything we love about the Lake District. It’s back‑to‑basics camping where nature and community come together beautifully. Surrounded by incredible walks and fantastic wild swimming spots, it’s the kind of place where you instantly relax the moment you arrive. Pitch up, take in the stunning surroundings, and simply breathe — this place never fails to reset us.
