Once your tent is clean and dry, sprinkle or pour a little water onto the outside fabric.

A healthy waterproof coating:

✅ Water forms droplets and rolls away.

A damaged waterproof coating:

❌ Water soaks into the material and creates darker patches.

If water no longer beads on the surface, it's a good indication that your tent needs reproofing.

Don't panic!

Rinse the affected area thoroughly with clean water.

Allow the tent to dry naturally.

Test the waterproofing using the water bead test.
